Gary Jules is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and sometimes journalist and farmer from San Diego, California, currently living in Asheville, North Carolina. His remake of Tears for Fears’ “Mad World” for the film Donnie Darko was a worldwide chart phenomenon, and has since become part of the collective postmodern social fabric. Gary’s song “Falling Awake” reached #2 on Billboard Magazine’s Top 100 after being featured in a popular episode of Grey’s Anatomy. His music has appeared in feature films, documentaries, television shows, and in advertising and even political campaigns.
